SiMBioS 2017 is a 5 days workshop dedicated to the modelling, the mathematical and the numerical analysis of problems arising in biological and environmental systems using deterministic as well as stochastic techniques without being restrictive. Those topics are truly timely, very active and developed in the teams which organize the meeting. The first 2 days will prepare interested students to attend the conference and 4 lectures will be provided by internationally recognized researchers.
